Precipitation is expected to all change over to snow after sunset as the low drops to 25 degrees in Denver with wind gusts over 20 mph. The later part of the evening drive, especially further north, will be impacted. Up to 7 inches of snow could fall around Fort Collins. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the mountains and northeast plains from this evening through tomorrow morning.

A heavy wet snow will impact travel in those areas, and even outside the advisory areas we're still looking at a few inches accumulation.
