The Barrows introduced new best in slot armour and weapons for every style of combat in the game, most of which are still sought-after items to this day. Originally the route to Barrows was a very long and tedious trail from Canifis, through the Mort Myre swamp — however other quicker methods have since been introduced to the game which shortens the travel time considerably.
The Arceuus Spellbook features a Barrows Teleport spell, unlocked at 83 magic which is the fastest route.
Players that do not meet the requirements to use the spell can use Barrows Teleport tablets, which can be bought at the Grand Exchange. There are no requirements for Barrows other than needing access to the swamp area in Morytania, which requires the Priest in Peril quest to be completed and the Nature Spirit quest to be started.

Guthan's is good for staying at a certain training spot for days, it eliminates the need for food. Don't listen to that one, he can't even wield barrows yet I don't suggest using barrows weapons at all, unless you are after a set effect healing, hitting through prayer I would say to get torags plate legs and helm because its good defense, or if you can afford it guthans is very handy to have full set I don't really care for verac's, but thats just my opinion.
Dh is amazing if you are training somewhere where you can keep low hp, other than that i wouldn't buy it. All the platebodies and platelegs of the melee brothers have the same def stats, but verac gives a prayer bonus. The crossbow is a good pk weapon. Dharoks: The best for training assuming you have the full set its also great for pking and combat minigames.
Veracs: This is my personal favoirite because of the prayer bonus. Its extremely useful for situations like fight caves, kalphite queen and duel tournaments.
