Keep up the good work and I will continue to be a loyal customer. We have been struggling to get my diabetic cat's glucose regulated better. He is insulin-resistant, and he will only eat dry food. We tried the Hill's version of low glucose food, but he would not eat it and started getting weaker. He much prefers the taste of this food and is eating regularly again.
My diabetic cat is on this diet so I have always gotten it from the vet. They don't carry it so they have to order it. Doesn't always come in time. With Chewy, it's always shipped within 2 days and I don't have to go pick it up. Same price as the vet.
I think I'm going to continue to order it from Chewy. When I first opened it, he was reluctant to try it since it was different. However, I mixed it with a little dry food he liked, and he tried it. After the first bite, he loved it. He's in remission now and so far this hasn't spiked his blood sugar. I still check his sugar every other day. It's expensive, but a daily serving size is a very small amount since it's so high in protein.
He's not a fan of canned, so this has helped maintain his weight without making him diabetic again. Just make sure you following the guidelines and don't give them too much. Quality food that seems to taste pretty good. Our newly diagnosed finicky diabetic cat seems to like this food so I am happy with it.
I didn't mix this with their previous dry food, but sometimes that step is needed. I just set it out and let them decide. My cats started eating this immediately and didn't want any of their old dry food.
