I'm not certain of the card's rarity within this set, but I'm almost positive it's a more difficult find than in Fires of Outland. Another way to obtain this mount is through a Landro's Gift loot card.
This loot item does not award both mounts however, and the drop rate is very low. Still…it is a more affordable way of gambling for this item and it's sure to get your blood pumping when you open the gift box.
See the Landro's Gift page for more info. The odds of getting a mount are very small estimated to be around. Even still, Landro's Gift is a very fun loot card. No matter what, you're guaranteed to get something from it, plus there's that tiny little chance that a Spectral Tiger may pop out!
If you have more wealth in Azeroth than you do in real life, then buying the Spectral Tiger from the auction house may be the way to go. The Reins of the Spectral Tiger and Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger are both bind-on-equip, which means they both can be traded in-game.
Be forewarned though… both versions of the mount command a hefty price — usually in upwards of 3 million gold. Also, due to the rarity of this loot, there's no guarantee that it will show up on your realm's auction house anytime soon, if ever. Honestly… if you truly must have this majestic mount, then buying the loot card may be the best bet.

You go to the website listed on the card and input it and this gives another code which you redeem at Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.
This gives you the right to buy both versions of Spectral Tiger either 75 or versions at 10g and g respectivly. By the way, the pictures shown are for the pre 2. I know this because I was lucky enough to find the card and cashed mine in so have the mount : The only downside of it is that you will constantly get whispered where you got the mount from. Btw the codes are unique one toon only usage.

Comment by Thottbot This is a reply to a post which has apparently been removed. Well, I hate to tell you this, but I moved out of my parents house when I was 18 and I'm now in my late 30's. I just celebrated my 15th wedding anniversary with my wife and we often play together.
I bought her a laptop just so she could play at the same time. We have good friends that we've met all over the country through the game.
Oh, and I own my house and my car, too. Sorry about that. Bought them. No inheritance whatsoever. No help from mommy or daddy. I started with nothing. Just thought I'd head off that notion before it comes up. Stop being angry about things you don't have and work with what you've got. Look, I couldn't have afforded one of these when I was 18, but so what? There will be other things in the future you can get. So quit worrying about it.
Took me awhile to find enough Allies to co-operate with me, but it was fun to set up. I just got the card today and want to redeem it on my Priest, but will be pretty bummed if the Shadowform shader overrides the spectral one!
