For the next 10 years, Susan worked in conjunction with MBA in several states providing courses across Australia to the construction industry and continued to develop our courses in conjunction with licensed builders Australia wide. It was in that Susan parted ways with the MBA amicably and began to operate Back to Basics as an independent entity. In addition to being the Managing Director of Back to Basics, Susan volunteers with Riding for the Disabled NSW and has not only assisted them to become an RTO, but has been integral in the development of new qualifications related to the care of the disabled.

Annette has worked as a Clinical Nurse Educator developing and co-ordinating education and competency programs for nurses.

Having worked in, on or around the construction industry for the vast majority of his adult life, Phil brings a wealth of knowledge to the Back to Basics team. In addition to this, Phil is a qualified Trainer and Assessor, and has worked in updating and developing the courses delivered by the Back to Basics Construction division. When not in the office, Phil is often found working on a new project of his own. Be it a new deck, a home extension, a new shed or one of his legendary Christmas light displays, Phil is always working on something.
